What year is this?! Oh that’s right, it’s the year 2000! At least that’s the year website restoration wizard Jial is trying to take us back to. Not satisfied with just restoring the Sonic Adventure and Jet Grind/Set Radio websites, Jial took it upon himself to restore the site for another beloved Dreamcast game, San Francisco Rush 2049! Starting today, the entirety of the site is now up and fully functional again! The SF Rush 2049 website features the latest updates, tips & tricks, outdated support info, and of course, the world rankings! Fans of the game will surely love being able to once again compare their best times with players around the world!
If you’d like to check out the newly restored website, just start up the game and select the “Web Site” option from the main menu. DreamPi users will automatically be redirected to the new website but if you’re using another dial-up connection method, you’ll need to make sure your DNS is set to 46.101.91.123. To upload ghost data, you’ll need to log in using a SegaNet account. If you don’t have one already, you can sign up here.
Once again I’d like to give a big thanks to Jial for bringing the World Wide Web back to yet another Dreamcast game! And of course a shout-out to Dan for hosting the site on DreamPipe!
