It’s giveaway time Dreamcasters and this month’s prize is the new Dreamcast USB controller adapter by megavolt85. I recently put these up for sale in the shop and figured it would make for a great giveaway as well. For those of you not familiar with this device, it allows you to use a wide range of USB controllers, racing wheels, joysticks, keyboards, and mice with your Dreamcast. In addition, it even allows you to save games to a flash drive if you have one plugged in via a USB splitter! More info and the full compatibility list can be found on the USB4MAPLE Wiki. This list is ever-expanding as Megavolt continues to update the firmware with new additions.
But that’s not all, folks! This month there’ll be not one, but TWO winners! That’s right, you’ll have double the chance of winning this time! What great odds!
If you’d like to enter for a chance to win, simply leave a comment below and make sure you include a valid email address in the “Email” box. Just for fun, let me know what peripheral you most want to use with the adapter. The winners will be chosen one week from today (May 17th). Good luck!
Update: The winners have been chosen! Congratulations to Dario and Brian!
I have a lot of controllers, I would like to try them all out! Make it feel like a new experience.

I’m actually jazzed to use a flash drive to archive saves as I’m finding 128 blocks to be not all that many! Would love to start using a keyboard for the game night chats too.

Excited for all the developments coming to the Dreamcast.
I’d like to ditch the ball mouse for certainly!
very cool! I’ve always wanted to play through mdk2 the whole on DC and with this I’d have functional controls do do it with haha
Awesome!! I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. I would totally use it with a USB keyboard to make PSO less cumbersome lol.
Sweeeet…. Could be OP
If i got this is have to give quale and unreal a go!. be interesting to see what else we can get away with if future indie releases use duel sticks as an option.
I have loved running tests on the ones I already have, but would be over the moon to have one in every slot at the front of my main DC. Thanks for the giveaway
Looks great!
Thanks! I’m interested in doing a DC to JAMMA setup if I win!

This adapter is such a neat solution that allows for new experiences with the Dreamcast! I’d love to try my arcade stick with it, so many great fighting games to choose from (some schmups too).
